  • ALERT - Federal Tax Regulations 2008, January Ed.

    Due to a technical error, regulation 1.863-3 of volume 3, regulation 301.6013(k)(6)-1 and regulation 1.6038B-1T of volume 5 were inadvertently omitted from the January 2008 edition of RIA’s Federal Tax Regulations.

  • ALERT - TPRG - RIA Tax Exempt Organizations - Print

    Report #10 filing instructions say: Take out pages 1503-1510 and put in Pages 1503-1511. The new index pages were inadvertenly not included in the mailing. The missing pages are being printed and mailed to all subscribers.

  • 2008 zCalc Product Update

    The 2008 zCalc Update is now available on the website. Click here zCalc Version 2008.2 to see the download page. Once there, locate the applicable setup file and follow the download and installation instructions listed at the bottom of the page.

    To install zCalc, you will need your personal product serial number. Please keep it in a secure place in case you need to reinstall.

    Note: You should have received an email with the new serial number and download links for the 2008 product if you subscribe to the maintenance program. Otherwise, you may need to renew or purchase the 2008 version. Contact your RIA representative for information. Your software serial number is confidential and for your use only.

    The new version includes:
    •  A new Advanced Estate Tax Calculator module that provides a comprehensive analysis of a decedent's Federal and State estate tax for dates of death ranging from 1/1/2005 through 12/31/2009 has been added. The calculator handles complex interrelated calculations and multiple state tax calculations including nonresident state taxes.

    •  A variety of printable reports are available that are a facsimile of the actual Federal and State estate tax forms and worksheets. See the Help file for more information.

    **Please note!** The 2008 version of zCalc is now Vista and Office 2007 compatible!
