Network Workstation  

Following are the hardware and software requirements for OnPoint/Folio products:

  • Pentium 486 DX2/66 (minimum) - Pentium or better(recommended)
  • Windows 95 - 16 MB RAM
  • Windows 98 - 32 MB RAM
  • Windows NT Workstation 4.0 - 32 MB RAM
  • Windows 2000 - 64 MB RAM
  • Mouse - Windows compatible
  • Video - VGA 640 X 480 16 colors (minimum) - SVGA 800 X 600 256 colors (recommended)
  • 10 MB hard disk space
    *Additional space required as more products are added.
  • Printer
    Any printer supported by the operating system in use for Folio-based products.
    RIA Forms products require an HP LaserJet Series II or other laser printer that is 100% HP PCL4 compatible. In order to print forms at 300dpi, 2MB of printer RAM is required.
 

 Network Server 

Following are the hardware and software requirements for OnPoint/Folio Network server products:

Operating Systems

  •     Novell NetWare 3.2
  •     Novell NetWare 4.11
  •     Novell NetWare 5.0
  •     Microsft Windows NT 4.x
  •     Microsoft Windows 95 or NT peer-to-peer
  •     Artisoft LANtastic 7.0

Hard Disk Space*

  •     25 - 35 MB

CDRom Drive

  • ISO-9660
  • 8x Transfer Rate - Recommend 32x Transfer Rate

    * In a network environment, the data contained on the CD-ROM discs must be available as a resource to the workstations that will be accessing RIA Group products. These resources must be available using a consistent scheme of Universal Paths, individual drive mappings or grouped volumes under a single drive letter. The CD-ROM software must be installed to a drive that is mapped to the same drive letter for all workstations

    Note: Some network operating systems require additional software in order to share CD-ROM volumes as a network resource.

    If sharing a CD using peer-to-peer networking, the CD must be shared as full access.
