Recommended Hardware & Operating Systems
Following are the recommended hardware and communications requirements for Quickfinder:
- Pentium or equivalent processor
- Microsoft Windows Vista, Windows 2000 Professional with SP4, or XP with SP2 installed according to the manufacturer's instructions and minimum requirements. Note: Our applications may continue to work with Windows 98/98SE and Windows NT Workstation 4.0, but our future releases or product modifications may not. Therefore, we recommend upgrading to a fully supported Microsoft operating system at your earliest convenience.
- Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or higher. PPC has also certified that its products function correctly with Microsoft Internet Explorer 7.
- A hard drive is required. Enough space must be available for the machines recommended virtual memory in addition to allowing enough room for all applications. PPC recommends a minimum of 200 MB of free space prior to any installation. (800MB for products using Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Express if not currently installed)

Microsoft Office
Supported Microsoft Office versions:
- Office XP with SP2
- Office 2003 with SP1
- Office 2007
Note: Office Student/Teacher Edition is not supported. PPC recommends the use of Office Professional edition.
Communications
